Stornoway on The Isle of Lewis, that makes up one of the many Hebridean Islands, is the perfect gateway to explore the stunning Scenery and History that these magnificent Islands have to offer. We are conveniently located only a few hundred yards from the venue for the Hebridean Celtic Festival.
Some of our Guests come purely to relax and re-charge their batteries, others come to participate in many of the recreational activities that these Islands have to offer. Fishing (We boast some of the best Salmon fishing in the World), Golfing, Hill Walking, Mountain Climbing, Water Sports. The list really is endless.
The history of these Islands is legendary, from Callanish Stones (Older than Stonehenge),The legendary tale of 'Whisky Galore', to the modern day fishing fleet there is a wealth of history to these Islands. Forget all your tour guides and books, the best way to find out what these Islands can offer you is "ask one of the locals". Hebrideans are famed for their hospitality and if they can not answer your question, they will know someone who can. Realistically the Islands of Lewis and Harris (one land mass), North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist, Eriskay and The Isle of Barra can all be explored from your base in Stornoway with only a couple of nights away.

Each cottage offers one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, bathroom, modern kitchen and sitting room. There is an external patio area to the rear which is fitted with a washing line, and ample off road parking to the rear.
The Gaelic Language is still widely spoken here in the Hebrides, so why not take a moment and try and learn one or two of the phrases. Many of the people you will meet will greatly appreciate your efforts.
